Senocean Law Practice Returns as a Sponsor of the All Africa IP Summit 2026

From the first Town Hall meeting in 2020,  the gathering that has since grown into the All Africa IP Summit, to the latest edition held last year in Dakar, Senegal, one theme has remained constant: the Africa IP Summit is a movement dedicated to making IP work for Africans. That objective has been possible every year thanks to our sponsors, partners, and the delegates who supported the first two physical editions in Kigali, Rwanda, 2024, and Dakar, Senegal, 2025.

We remain proud and honored to have sponsors and partners committed to sustaining this movement. Last year, we welcomed Senocean Law Practice, a premier law firm championing IP protection, enforcement, and management in Nigeria, as a sponsor, and we are honored to welcome them back for the 7th Edition of the All Africa IP Summit 2026 as an official Platinum Sponsor.

Senocean’s return as a sponsor reflects the growing significance of the All Africa IP Summit and the importance of the “IP for Africa” movement in mainstreaming intellectual property across the continent’s economic, creative, and innovation landscape. Senocean represents the vital role the legal profession plays in supporting this movement and the growth of IP and innovation in Africa.

Taking place from 11th to 13th November 2026 in Nairobi, Kenya, the All Africa IP Summit 2026 will bring together IP professionals, lawyers, policymakers, business leaders, innovators, creators, academics, entrepreneurs, and other stakeholders from across Africa and beyond to discuss IP for Africa under the theme, “Mainstreaming IP for Africa’s Trade, Industrial & Creative Economy Transformation.”

Why Law Firms are encouraged to join the movement in shaping Africa’s IP future:

Africa’s IP and innovation landscape has grown significantly over the years, driven by the creative and youthful, ambitious population developing solutions to the continent’s most pressing challenges. Businesses are building valuable brands, innovators are developing new technologies, creative industries are expanding, and African enterprises are increasingly looking beyond national borders to access regional and international markets. The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) has helped make this a reality. With the AfCFTA Protocol on IP Rights adopted by the African Union Assembly in February 2023, aimed at harmonizing IP laws, boosting intra-Africa trade, and protecting innovation across member states, we are confident that IP will strategically enhance innovation and creativity across Africa.

This growth in innovation, intra-Africa trade, and IP utilization creates both opportunities and challenges for the legal profession. The All Africa IP Summit offers a platform for legal practitioners, researchers, regulators, and policymakers to explore these opportunities and challenges, and to chart how Africans can best use IP to their advantage.

Law firms are uniquely positioned to promote IP awareness and shape conversations around IP policy, enforcement, technology, investment, and cross-border protection. Joining the Summit as a sponsor, partner, or delegate is a way to participate directly in the movement shaping IP in Africa.

The Summit invites law firms across Africa and internationally to participate, support, and become part of this important platform. Participation can take many forms, from attending and contributing to discussions, to speaking on panels, hosting knowledge sessions, exhibiting, networking with delegates, or becoming an official sponsor or partner.

Supporting the All Africa IP Summit is an opportunity for law firms to demonstrate their commitment to the broader IP community. We are pleased to recognize Senocean Law Firm for continuing its support of the All Africa IP Summit.

The All Africa IP Summit 2026 is a platform connecting the people, ideas, and institutions shaping the future of intellectual property in Africa. We welcome law firms that share this vision to join us.
