The 7th Edition of the All Africa IP Summit will be held from 11th – 13th November 2026, Nairobi, Kenya
The theme, “Mainstreaming Intellectual Property for Africa’s Trade, Industrial and Creative Economy Transformation,” reflects the growing recognition that intellectual property must become an integral component of Africa’s economic development strategy.
- Policy Roundtables: Deliberations on harmonising IP frameworks across Africa.
- Innovation Showcases: Exhibitions featuring breakthrough technologies, creative content, and IP-driven solutions.
- Networking & Partnerships: Opportunities for cross-border collaboration and investment in African innovation ecosystems.
- Day 1: High-Level Plenary on “IP for AfCFTA Prosperity” (Keynote: Kenyan Government leaders), Breakout sessions and Exhibitions.
- Day 2: Breakout sessions, Fireside chats on critical IP issues (Traditional Knowledge, Digital IP, Enforcement, AI and IP, etc.), Exhibitions, Awards, and Networking Gala.

All Africa IP Summit Call for Papers (CFP)
The Call for Papers invites researchers, academics, and professionals to submit abstracts of their original work for presentation at the Africa IP Summit 2026. Selected papers will contribute to the summit’s discussions on IP and sustainable development.
Yes, we encourage submissions of papers. Please refer to the “Call for Papers” section on our website for submission guidelines and deadlines.
You can submit your abstract via the Call for Papers portal on our website https://africaipsummit.com/call-for-papers-2/ while following the submission guidelines provided in the Call for Papers section
An abstract will be selected based on its originality, quality, alignment with the theme/sub-themes, topic of interest and capacity to provoke productive debate.
Accepted papers will be published in a reputable university press after the summit
All Africa IP Summit Registration FAQ
Payment for the summit fee is grouped into categories
- Professional category for early bird $200 (16th August, 2026)
- Professional category for regular $400
The Summit fee covers access to all conference sessions, workshops, panel discussions, conference materials, meals (lunch and coffee breaks) during the conference days, access to the exhibition, networking events, summit materials and a certificate of attendance.
All fees and charges are nonrefundable, and there are no refunds or credits available.

Yes, we offer 50% early bird discounts for the professional category completed on or before 16th August 2026.
Visit the travel and visa session of the summit for all the necessary visa information; however, all passport holders need to obtain a yellow fever vaccination certificate.
You can apply for a visa online. The Kenya eVisa is an Electronic Travel Authorisation to enter Kenya. Kenya offers an e-visa for more than 100+ countries. Travellers can apply for an evisa online and receive an electronic travel authorisation in PDF format. Upon arrival in Nairobi, travellers can show the printed copy of the visa letter and get their passport stamped at the Kenyan International Airport.
Yes. The summit secretariat will issue an official invitation letter to facilitate your visa application.
We have partnered with several hotels to offer special discounted rates for Summit attendees, however delegates and participants are free to make their own personal arrangements.
